Mountain View Hospital opened its doors 30 years ago - and celebrated its anniversary in 2009 with an expansion of its ability to better serve patients and the local community. A $14 million renovation is completed and includes a new, 51,000-square-foot medical office building and parking structure. The hospital also completely remodeled its Women's Center with updated labor, delivery and childbirth recovery rooms.

"We are delighted to make this significant investment in our community - especially in light of the current economic downturn," said Kevin Johnson chief executive officer at Mountain View Hospital. "Through this expansion and renovation, we can better meet the healthcare needs of the communities we serve."

The already comprehensive services for women have been significantly enhanced at Mountain View Hospital. They now include digital mammography, bone density testing and the latest in ultrasound technology. Patients will enjoy a dedicated registration area in the renovated Women's Center. The hospital's nursery has also been enlarged to further improve care for the community's newest residents.
